CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Clouded leopard cubs frolic at Nashville Zoo

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - A recently acquired pair of clouded leopard cubs are thriving at their new home at the Nashville Zoo.

The brother-sister duo are both named affectionately after Batman characters, carers told Storyful Monday.

Footage shows the two 11-month-old cubs, named Joker and Quinn, playing with colorful egg-shaped toys in their enclosure in Nashville, Tennessee.

"The clouded leopard is considered vulnerable to extinction, so every cub matters," a representative from the zoo told Storyful.

Each of the cubs will "eventually be paired off with another leopard cub" based on recommendations from the Association of Zoos & Aquarium's Species Survival Plan, the Nashville Zoo said.
