CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Severe thunderstorm hits Nebraska

(CBS, KYMA/KECY) - A severe thunderstorm battered parts of Nebraska with destructive wind gusts of up to 80 mph Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.

Footage by an Omaha resident shows continuous lightning and trees blowing in strong winds.

"This has been continuous since like 5:45," X user @ArkBoSox wrote.

He followed up in another post to X Saturday, saying, "A lot of fencing repairs gonna be happening today in West Omaha."
