CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Police in Albuquerque arresting former UFC fighter Diego Sanchez
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - New video has emerged showing the moments Albuquerque police arrested a former UFC fighter for allegedly firing a gun out of a car window.
Diego Sanchez was taken into custody last month on multiple gun charges.
Recently released bodycam footage from the Albuquerque Police Department shows Sanchez cooperating with officials after being pulled over following a report Sanchez had leaned out of a car window and fired a gun in the air while passing a crash.
He was later charged with shooting at or from a motor vehicle, a fourth degree felony, and negligent use of a deadly weapon, a misdemeanor.
Sanchez has since then been released from jail with conditions. While he waits for his trial, he is not allowed to be around any guns, or use any drugs or alcohol.
