Two pro-Palestinian protests held on the East Coast

(CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Pro-Palestine protesters gathered in New York and in Boston Friday as part of an international day of protest against the hunger crisis in Gaza.

Footage published by the Party for Socialism and Liberation shows the protesters gathering at the United Nations Plaza "to demand the US and Israel stop the genocidal bombing and starvation campaign against the Palestinian people."

A similar protest happened in Boston that same day.

The Palestinian Youth Movement called for Friday to be a "global day of action against those complicit in this brutal act of mass starvation and genocide."
