Julian McMahon, ‘Fantastic Four’ and ‘Nip/Tuck’ actor, dies at 56

(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - Actor Julian McMahon has died.

He's best known for starring in the WB television series "Charmed," the FX television series "Nip/Tuck" and the CBS television series "FBI: Most Wanted."

He is also known for playing Doctor Doom in the "Fantastic Four" movies.

The Australian star died earlier this week in Clearwater, Florida.

His wife, Kelly McMahon, told Deadline Friday her husband died peacefully after battling cancer.

He was 56.
