Disney World reopens Hall of Presidents with updated President Trump animatronic

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Disney World guests were welcomed back to The Hall of Presidents Sunday as the Florida venue reopened with an updated Donald Trump animatronic.

The Hall of Presidents closed down on January 20, the day of the 47th president inauguration, to update Trump's audio-animatronic and add him back to center stage, WDW News Today reported.

According to the Daily Mail, Trump's previous robot sparked controversies, as visitors pointed out it looked "far more" like Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton than Trump.

The attraction's reopening was not announced by Disney World, the Daily Mail reported, "leaving both guests and employees confused."

Footage captured by The Main Street Mouse - Michelle Atwood shows a portion of the 25-minute show, which recounts the story of the United States' founding.
