Chick-fil-A delivers food by boat to beachgoers in Florida

DESTIN, Fla. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Boaters and beachgoers in Destin, Florida, who are weary of seafood have an ultra-convenient option, as a local Chick-fil-A offers delivery via inflatable boat.

Footage filmed by Sara Franklin O'Connor, during a vacation with her husband on O'Steen Beach in Destin, shows a Chick-fil-A boat driving up to shore.

"This is really a thing! They deliver right up to you in the beach," O'Connor wrote on Instagram.

O'Conner told Storyful that the Chick-fil-A boat distracted them as they watched crews searching for a missing 10-year-old.

"It was pretty somber and the Chick-fil-A boat kind of distracted us and we were able to see a bit of light and humor," she said. "It was kind of funny and unbelievable."

Authorities looked for the girl, who was last seen near the Destin Pass, for six days before calling off the search, local media reported.
