One dead, nine injured in a shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in South Carolina

ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A shooting at a Juneteenth celebration in South Carolina's Anderson County left one person dead.

Deputies were called to the scene Saturday at around 10:00 p.m. Eastern after a fight broke out.

Nine other people were injured, including one who was airlifted to a hospital and two people who were severely injured.

The coroner has identified the woman who died in the shooting as 35-year-old Laporshia Cobb.

Deputies are still trying to determine who may be responsible for the shooting.
