At least 10 dead in school shooting in Austria
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - At least 10 people are dead after a gunman opened fire at a high school in the Austrian city of Graz Tuesday.
The country's Interior Ministry says the victims include children between 14- and 18-years-old. In addition, 12 students were injured, some seriously.
Authorities say the suspect is a 21-year-old man who acted alone. They say he previously attended the school, but did not graduate.
He used a rifle and a handgun to carry out the killing spree before fatally shooting himself.
Officials did not offer a motive.
It's one of the worst rampages in Austria's history.
Gun violence is rare in most central European countries.
