Clothes worn by Princess Diana going up for auction

LONDON (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Decades after her death, the market for Princess Diana's clothes is booming.

From Chanel shoes to ski suits, fashion worn by the People's Princess is going up for auction.

More than 200 items are on offer including a black taffeta gown made by the same designers who created her legendary wedding dress and a floral day dress she wore several times.

Experts say Diana's timeless fashion is now considered a high-value investment.

The auction takes place later this month in Beverly Hills, but online bidding is already going strong. Some of her gowns are expected to fetch hundreds of thousands of dollars.
