CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Two pigeons removed from Delta flight

(NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A pair of pigeons opted to fly commercial and hitch a ride inside a Delta flight over the weekend.

Video captured by Tom Caw shows one of the pigeons flying inside the cabin of Delta Flight 2348 Saturday.

Caw, who was a passenger on the flight, says baggage handlers boarded the plane and caught the first pigeon who was then removed.

However, as the aircraft began taxiing on the runway, a second pigeon appeared, forcing the plane to return to the gate, with handlers capturing and removing the bird once more.

Delta said the flight from Minneapolis to Wisconsin was delayed by about an hour.
