CAUGHT ON CAMERA: Drivers in Florida plow through flooded interstate
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - Roads were flooded in St Petersburg, Florida, on May 12, as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned that storms and showers could bring up to four inches of rain.
Footage by Franklin Alves shows vehicles plowing through flooding on Interstate 75.
A police cruiser is seen next to a car with impact damage, while two other cars are sitting immobile in the water.
The NWS said drier conditions would prevail for the rest of the week.
