Rare two-headed snake at California pet store
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - A pet store in Northern California is celebrating seven months of a very rare animal.
They are two heads on the same California king snake.
The one in 100,000 occurrence is the same thing as a conjoined twin; one embryo that partially split into two.
Zeke and Angel are thriving, which leads the East Bay Vivarium to think they'll live the species normal 20 to 30 year life span.
It also means they'll grow to around four feet long.
Workers say the heads can both control the body, but often fight over which way to go.
When that happens, Angel typically wins out as the dominant head.
