Ultra-processed foods can lead to an early death

(CNN, KYMA/KECY) – The more ultra-processed foods that you eat, the more risk you have a premature death.

That's according to a new meta analysis research involving more than 240,000 people.

It's been estimated that nearly 70% of all grocery food stores in the U.S. is ultra-processed.

These ultra-processed foods are considered to have little to no whole food value.

They are chemically manipulated and often contain synthetic additives.

According to the study, the U.S. has the highest level of ultra-processed food consumption around the world, more than half the average of the American diet.
