Michigan library unveils portrait to honor late sculptor

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (CBS, KYMA/KECY) - The City of Benton Harbor honored the life of the late world-renowned sculptor Richard Hunt Tuesday afternoon.

A new oil portrait of Hunt was revealed at the Benton Harbor Public Library.

The Chicago-based sculptor opened his satellite studio in Benton Harbor 30 years ago.

The portrait dedicated on Tuesday was painted by local artist Eric Bradford.

"It goes back to what I was saying about Richard Hunt. His dedication...When you invest your time and keep your skills sharp and trust the process, repetition and repeat, trust it and good things can happen," Bradford expressed.
