Three dead, three injured in Michigan after tree falls on car

CLIMAX TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Three people died in Michigan Sunday after a tree fell on their vehicle during stormy weather.

Officials say the fatal incident happened in Climax Township. Severe weather was moving through the area when a tree fell onto a car.

Three family members in the car died and three more members of the same family were injured.

One person has been hospitalized in critical condition and the other two were reported in stable condition.

The names of the victims have not been released.
