Vigils held for victims of mass shooting in New Mexico
LAS CRUCES, N.M. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Vigils were held over the weekend for the victims of a mass shooting in New Mexico last week.
A prayer vigil was held at Momentum Church Sunday, where people gathered and prayed for the victims.
Another vigil, organized by sister churches Heart of the World and Sanaiglesia, was held outdoors at the Branigan Library.
A 20-year-old man and three teens have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with Friday night's shooting at a park in Las Cruces. The shooting left three people dead and 15 others hurt.
On Saturday, Las Cruces officials said that seven people injured in the shooting were treated and released. Their current medical conditions are unknown.
