Today is National Pi Day!
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - March 14 is celebrates one of the hardest numbers to memorize because it's National Pi Day!
Not pie as in apple or pizza, but as in the mathematical constant 3.14 represented by the Greek letter pi.
It's the ratio of a circle circumference of its diameter and according to National Day Calendar.com.
The first major observance of Pi Day, it was back in 1988 at the San Francisco Exploratorium.
