East Coast gas station celebrated Fourth of July by selling gas for $1.776

(NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Sheetz gas station locations celebrated the Fourth of July with some very patriotic pricing.

The popular gas station chain was selling gas for $1.776 per gallon Tuesday, or 1776 if you will.

Those amazingly low prices are causing long lines to form at many locations like this one in Raleigh, North Carolina. Customers took full advantage of the gas prices that may never be seen again.

Folks in Roanoke, Virginia also patiently waited for their turns to fill up their cars and trucks.

That's a happy Fourth of July indeed for those lucky Sheetz customers.
