Colorado police investigate murder-suicide at Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall

THORNTON, Colo. (NBC) - Two people are dead after a shooting at Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Thornton.

According to police, a man shot and killed an unidentified woman, later revealed as husband and wife, who then turned the gun on himself.

The initial report detailed the suspect shooting into a crowd and throwing pipe bombs at the hall in Thornton.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department's Hazardous Materials Unit was also on the scene.

The unit found suspicious devices at the location and are currently investigating them.

Both deceased adults were previously members of the Kingdom Hall congregation.
