A rally held for Shanquella Robinson Saturday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (NBC) - A rally occurred in honor of Shanquella Robinson in Charlotte Saturday.

Robinson was a 25-year-old Charlotte woman who mysteriously died in Cabo San Lucas during a Mexico trip with friends.

The community came together at the Little Rock A.M.E. Zion Church in uptown Charlotte.

Attendees then gave tributes and remembered Robinson's life.

However, Robinson's death remains a mystery.

Despite various accounts of what happened, a death certificate said Robinson died 15 minutes after suffering a broken neck and severe spinal cord injury.

Furthermore, Mexican authorities are investigating her death as a homicide and have issued an arrest warrant for one of the people on the trip.
