Protestor eggs French President Macron

Although protestor hits target, it's somewhat of a fail

LYON, France (KYMA, KECY/CBS) - A protestor egged French President Emmanuel Macron Monday during the meet-and-greet portion of a chef's food event.

While the egg is thrown, a voice (presumably the protestor's) can be heard saying, "Long live the revolution," in French.

Although the man's egg did in fact hit President Macron, it failed to crack on him.

Nevertheless, security immediately safeguarded the president, while also restraining the protestor.
