The 2020 Census is around the corner and they are hiring.

A nationwide effort to recruit workers is underway, but fewer people are applying.

In response, the bureau is upping the hourly pay in more than half the country.

Census Bureau officials say there's no deadline to apply.

They'll keep accepting applications even after the job is set to start April 1.
