At least one dead, 10 injured after missile attack in Kyiv

KYIV (CBS, KYMA) - Explosions were heard in Ukraine's capital Kyiv, a Reuters witness said Tuesday, after a Russian missile strike on the city a day earlier killed at least one person and injured 10, including students at a dormitory.

The late-evening attack Monday hit an educational institution, residences, an underground station and medical facilities.

Debris was seen around damaged vehicles, and shattered glass and broken wooden panels littered the entrance to a metro station.

The Southern Bridge and related subway infrastructure on it were damaged in an attack on Kyiv, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Telegram Tuesday, with city authorities saying separately that traffic there was suspended.
