Zelenskyy pleads for aid as Biden, allies begin summits
BRUSSELS (AP) — Ukrainian Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for “military assistance without limitations” during an address to an emergency NATO summit taking place in Brussels.
It's the first of three urgent meetings that U.S. President Joe Biden and world leaders are holding Thursday in response to the Russian invasion.
Zelenskyy pleaded for anti-air and anti-ship weapons, asking “is it possible to survive in such a war without this?”
Zelenskyy told the assembled leaders that the scariest part of war is not having clear answers to requests for help.
The Group of Seven nations and the European Union will also meet Thursday to discuss the war.
