Nuclear war is of major concern as fighting intensifies in Ukraine

(KYMA, KECY/ NBC News) - The fighting continues to intensify in Ukraine as Russian troops are closing in on the Capital city of Kyiv, while the UN Secretary General is warning of a possible nuclear war.

Several more residential buildings were hit by Russian missiles overnight, including two high-rise buildings and one private home.

Officials say there could be victims in those residential buildings, but that information is still being clarified.

In total, at least three powerful explosions were heard in Kyiv before dawn.

Russia and Ukraine are due to meet again for another round of talks Tuesday aimed at ending the war in Ukraine. This after already four failed meetings.
