Power outages continue in San Luis, Mexico

SAN LUIS, Mexico (KYMA) - Power outages are still impacting residents in San Luis, Mexico.

Mayor Cesar Sandoval met with the Federal Commission of Electricity to find a long-term solution. He said the power should be fully restored sometime this week.

In the meantime, there are temporary shelters set in different part of San Luis, Mexico for people affected by the outages.

"The Federal Commission of Electricity manager said they are working hard to have the power restore to 100% soon in the city, the valley and El Golfo," Mayor Sandoval.

Sandoval says some city services also have been impacted, including street lights and the sewage system.
