Criminal leader arrested with large group during Mexicali party

MEXICALI, Mexico (KYMA) - A criminal leader affiliated with Los Rusos, along with 27 other individuals, was detained during a party in the city of Mexicali.

El Mike de la Carbajal was taken into custody following reports of gunfire and the presence of armed individuals at the gathering.

Upon the arrival of law enforcement, one officer was wounded and even threatened.

The operation was carried out last weekend and involved the participation of 120 officers from various agencies.

Five firearms were recovered at the scene; among those detained were a former government official and the lead singer of a musical group.
