Young girl found dead in San Luis, Mexico canal

SAN LUIS, Mexico (KYMA, KECY) - A three-year-old girl who went missing in San Luis, Mexico has been found dead.

Mexican media outlets report that the girl was found in a canal on Monday night after she went missing from her home.

Family members and the community joined the search along with police and firefighters.

The search lasted more than an hour.

The investigation into how she died is ongoing.
