Mexicali to start vaccinating 18 year olds
MEXICALI, B.C. (KYMA, KECY) - Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) gives the green light to offer the COVID vaccine to anyone over 18 years old.
Last week, U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris donated one million Johnson & Johnson vaccines to help with immediate food shortages and disaster recovery in the region.
The Secretary of Health in Baja California, Alonso Pérez Rico, says people can choose to receive the Pfizer or Sinovac vaccine this week. However, this week the vaccine is only offered for people ages 40-59 years old.
