Mexicali remains in yellow traffic light with restrictions

MEXICALI, B.C. (KYMA, KECY) - Mexican health officials say Mexicali is still on a 'yellow' traffic light with limited restrictions due to active COVID-19 cases.

They say the pandemic is far from over but continue to remind residents to keep practicing social distancing and maintain sanitary measures at all times and places.

Health officials also remind everyone to continue wearing face masks and continue washing their hands. The state remains green traffic lights without any restrictions. As for Mexicali, the city remains to have a capacity in bars, casinos, movie theaters, and shopping malls.
