Monster Truck Nitro Tour makes stop in Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Monster trucks were back in Yuma County this weekend. 

The annual Monster Truck Nitro Tour made it's way back to the Yuma County Fairgrounds. 

Locals got to enjoy monster vs. monster truck performances, and with an additional ticket, even possibly get the chance to ride in one. 

We spoke with the organizer who says they are excited to be back in Yuma County. 

"We've been as far as Russia, China, Poland, all over but when we can come home and do it. We've got home town drivers as well, we've got Ryan Robinson out of Apache Junction he's excited to be driving here as well. I'm born and raised in Arizona and so anything I can do in Arizona at home is just kind of a special thing for me as well," said Tony Madderazzo.

The organizer added it's always exciting to bring back the tour each year to Yuma County.
