Grand Opening for new Kari Lake offices in Downtown Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Republican U.S. Senate Candidate Kari Lake was in Yuma for the Grand Opening of her new resource office in Downtown Yuma.

Around 100 local supporters gathered in the new office to see her and hear some of her plans for the state if she's elected to serve on the U.S. Senate.

The office will be used to provide resources like campaign signs, meeting spaces, information, and opportunities for volunteers.

The office will also be hiring people to go out and knock on doors, make phone calls, and spread awareness about voting.

The Republican candidate shares what she believes is the biggest issue the residents of Arizona face.

Kari Lake says, "The number one issue in Arizona across all ages, across all demographics, right now, even though our border is really important, is now the economy. The border is a big issue but people are struggling so much right now in this economy, Joe Biden's 'Bidenomics' doesn't work."

Lake will be in Flagstaff next as part of her Make America Grand Again Tour.

She is running against three other candidates, including Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb, in the Arizona Primary on July 30th.
