We spoke to a student from Brawley High who expressed his condolences.
“It sucks. It’s just hard to see everyone down and upset that their friend or cousin or brother you it’s gone. It’s really hard to see.” Joshua Betro, Brawley resident.
The crash happened on Cattle Call Drive by Cattle Call Park.
Police say the vehicle caught fire after hitting a tree that was on the side of the road.
