City of Yuma asks local contractors to take online survey

MGN

The survey will be open from July 24 to July 30

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The City of Yuma is hoping to attract more local bidders to city projects and is launching an online survey for area contractors.

The online survey should only take local vendors about 10 minutes to complete.

You can find the survey HERE.

The City of Yuma said the survey is for the city to learn more about local contractors in the community and why they may or may not bid on city projects.

“Our goal is to obtain feedback from our contracting community. It is essential for the City to build partnerships so that we ultimately deliver better services to our citizens,” said Director of Public Works Joel Olea.

The feedback from the survey will determine the structure of a future forum for current and potential vendors, said the City of Yuma.

The Contractor Forum will happen on Friday, September 22 in room 190 of City Hall, 1 City Plaza from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Contractors will be able to learn about the city's procurement process and how to bid on city projects at the forum and attendees will be able to ask questions and provide input.
