Stolen sick kitten found and in good health

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department said the stolen kitten was found and in good health. The suspects were identified and there are no charges pending in this case.

A kitten named Siul was stolen from the Humane Society of Yuma (HSOY) on Friday, June 30.

A Hispanic man and woman went to HSOY and asked questions about the kitten.

They were asked to complete an Adoption Information Form but the couple did not complete it.

Through the security camera footage, it appeared the couple waited until they wouldn't be detected, and the man opened the kennel and took the kitten.

The Yuma Police Department said the suspects have been working with HSOY in this case.
