Health care job fair being held in Yuma

Arizona @ Work is hosting 14 employers from across the county

YUMA, Ariz. (KECY, KYMA) - A job fair for health care is coming up this week.

Arizona @ Work is hosting 14 healthcare employers at the MLK Community Center on Wednesday, June 28.

If you're on the job hunt or are looking for a career change, you're encouraged to pre-register at this link.

Yuma Regional Medical Center, Sunset Health, the Regional Center for Border Health, and more will all be in attendance looking to fill open positions.

If you don’t have experience in health care, there’s also an opportunity to sign up for training programs.

“We will be having the Arizona Western College Health Airde program available, and the Regional Center for Border Health will be offering their programs and training for those considering the health care field," Arizona @ Work Executive Director Nidia Herrera said.

The event is on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Individuals are encouraged to bring multiple resume copies and dress to impress.
