Three men, two women arrested following home invasion

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Five suspects caught during a home invasion Friday night at around 9:00pm.

The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) received a call from a neighbor reporting suspicious activity coming from a home in the area that should be vacant at the time on Via Estrella and Del Valle.

YCSO says contact was made with a suspect at the home, and they stated they were related to the homeowner.

During this initial contact, multiple suspects were attempting to leave the home, but were successfully detained.

Three men and two women, between 18-to-42 years-old, were arrested and booked on Second Degree Residential Burglary and First Degree Criminal Trespassing.

If you have more information regarding this case, please call YCSO or 78-CRIME to remain anonymous.
