Hobbs delivers first State of State address

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Education policy was at the forefront of Katie Hobbs' inaugural address.

Hobbs emphasized her administration's plans to combat various issues pertaining to education reform, including public school resource funding and fulfilling Arizona's teacher employment vacancies.

Recognition of Arizona's tribal communities' sovereignty, diversity, and inclusion in the public sector, immigration reform, and increased regulation in water cleanliness efforts were additional chief concerns and topics addressed by Hobbs.
