Somerton hosts tower lighting event
Centennial Park tower lighting event takes place for another year
SOMERTON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Somerton kicked off another year of holiday festivities at the tower lighting event at Centennial Park.
The night featured folklore dancing, holiday music, and a special visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus.
The event is primarily hosted during the first week of December, and collaboration and sponsorship between Somerton and Somerton Parks and Recreation propel the event to fruition.
Many festive activities were included such as music, dancing, singing, games, and food.
