Sprague’s Sports to host dove hunt clean-up

Volunteers are needed and will be entered to win prizes.

YUMA, Ariz. (KECY, KYMA) - Friday, September 16th was the last day of the early dove hunting season in Yuma.

So tomorrow Sprague's Sports is organizing a community cleanup.

Volunteers are needed.

Those interested can meet at the Sprague's Sports parking lot on Saturday at 6 a.m..

Breakfast will be provided to volunteers and you’ll also be eligible to win prizes.

“We’ll have maps, some areas we’re going to target. And we’ll have breakfast burritos, water," Richard Sprague said. "We’ll have a drawing for special prizes for those who pitch in.”

The cleanup goes on until 10 a.m..

Late dove hunting season will begin on November 18th.
