ADOT confirms activity will be from morning to early evening
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) warns commuters to expect upcoming delays and allow extra travel time.
Department officials say drivers should plan ahead for lane restrictions on U.S. Route 95 (U.S. 95) starting Monday, November 1, near Quartzsite.
ADOT reports contractors are scheduled to complete the final paving of a pavement rehabilitation project between mileposts 80 (near Cibola Road) and 96 (Crystal Hill Road).
From 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., all the way through Friday, November 5, the following restrictions will be in place:
- Alternating lane closures will occur in both directions of U.S. 95 between mileposts 80 and 96.
- Flaggers and a pilot car will direct motorists through the work zone.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 25 mph.
- A 10-foot vehicle width restriction will be in place.
