COVID-19 vaccine can lead to a new normal

Imperial County eager to get the community vaccinated

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Imperial County health officials are working closely with the community in what they call Together-to-Immunity. The outreach efforts are to remind the public that the COVID-19 vaccine is free and available to everyone 12 years of age and older.

Currently, the vaccine is being offered at various locations throughout the Valley.

"If you haven’t received your vaccine, there’s a couple of clinics that are upcoming. The health department is doing clinics throughout the county. You know, we’re still doing clinics over at the department of social services, but we are going out to the community," says Imperial County Health Promotion Manager Jorge Torres.

Updated vaccine clinic information can be found at the health department's website.
