Non-essential businesses prepare to reopen in San Luis R.C.

SAN LUIS RIO COLORADO, Sonora (KYMA, KECY) - The Municipal Public Health Committee announced the reopening of non-essential businesses in San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, such as nightclubs, and bars, including extending the hours of restaurants, casinos, and gyms.

Although businesses are given the green light, they must remain at a 50% capacity. For example, hours in restaurants will be extended until 12 a.m. with 75% capacity. Casinos, grocery stores, sporting events may open with a 50% capacity with a maximum of 500 people.

Officials said hotels, hair salons, religious events have a 75% capacity.

Businesses must continue to comply with rules and continue to follow safety protocols to avoid new COVID-19 cases.
