Arizona@Work to host Layoff Recovery Event

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A local organization will be hosting an event for those who were laid off from work.

Arizona@Work's Layoff Recovery Event is offering resources to those in need of a job.

Assistance includes:

  • Employer connections
  • Job and unemployment support
  • Retraining opportunities
  • Mortgage and rental assistance

Two sessions are planned for March 27 and March 28 respectively.

Session one's check-in time is at 9 a.m. and session two's is at 2 p.m.

The event will be held at MLK Youth Career Center (300 S. 13th Ave.).
