‘Fuel of Dreams’ fundraiser on Thursday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - This coming Thursday, you could pump gas in Yuma while helping the Special Olympics.

Yuma police officers will be helping locals gas up and clean windshields to raise funds for the Special Olympics at Fry's gas station on Fourth Avenue and 24th Street.

"And this a way to get donations plus another kicker for every 10 dollars you donate you receive a raffle ticket to go to a drawing and you can we one of 23 prizes between from 50 to 500 dollars for Fry's," said Sgt. Lori Franklin, Yuma Police Department Public Information Officer.

Once again, the event will be this Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
