YPD responds to double homicide, suspect turned himself in

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) responded to reports of shots fired near E. 1st Street and S. Main Street.
YPD also said that this occurred at approximately 1:21 a.m. on January 30.
When the officers arrived, they found two men who sustained gunshot wounds. While one of them, a 41-year-old, died at the scene, the other, a 35-year-old, died after medical personnel transported him to the Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC).
At this time, the investigation remains ongoing and there are no suspects in custody.
