CBP Port of San Luis arrested driver and seized drug money
SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - U.S. Customs and Border Protection Port of San Luis officers arrested a driver before the latter entered Mexico.
In a press release, the arrest was in connection to a seizure of unreported currency; to be exact, $105,000 of suspected drug money.
Furthermore, officers conducting routine inspections had the 31-year-old Jeep Wrangler driver pull off the road for further inspection.
Upon physical inspection, officers then found the $105,000 suspected drug money near the vehicle's fuel tank.
After that, officers seized the cash and arrested the driver.
