Yuma City Hall to close for Christmas and New Year’s

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The City of Yuma has issued a press release regarding the City Hall closures and changes to trash pickups.

Accordingly, the Yuma City Hall will close on Friday, December 23 and Monday, December 26; the latter date is to observe Christmas.

City Hall will also close on Monday, January 2, 2023 to observe New Year's Day.

These City Hall closures will affect the trash pickup dates during the two weeks.

With this in mind, those who have their trash collected on Mondays will take place on Tuesday.

On the other hand, those who have their trash collected on Tuesdays will take place on Wednesday.

However, curbside recycling pickup has not changed and will remain as scheduled.

Normal schedules will return on Monday, January 9, 2023.
