Toys for Tots rush to meet deadlines prior to Christmas

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - There are twelve locations to donate to Toys for Tots in Yuma this December.

The locations can be found at the Yuma Palms Center, American Legion Post #19 and others can be found on the Yuma Toys for Tots website.

Currently, 1,800 families are scheduled to receive toys prior to Christmas day.

The deadline to submit a Toys for Tots application was November 16, however, leftover toys can be obtained by contacting Yuma Toys for Tots via the Toys for Tots Facebook page.

The non-profit organization is active year-round and is currently seeking new volunteers to donate and assist with present distribution.

The toy types are authorized by the Toys for Tots organization.
